I recently recorded a take on one of my all-time favorite tunes, “Pure Imagination,” from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. I recorded this on a D’Angelico EX-SS, through a ’65 Re-issue Deluxe Reverb.
I recently updated the configuration on my pedalboard, and was asked by a friend to put together a demo video. After many failed attempts at trying to be concise and still informative, not to mention realizing the horrors of my own speaking voice, I decided to go a different route.
I wrote a tune to demonstrate what’s on the board and how I typically use it.
